SOURCE CONTEXT

Technology and readiness context

The requirements below support a more specific technical or commercial conversation.

01The next materials frontier

Selenium introduces an advanced photovoltaic pathway alongside conventional crystalline-silicon module products. Energy America presents the platform through its design, manufacturing and customer commercialization role, while Centauri Renewable Corporation provides the technology stewardship and research governance context. The company's current readiness statement is manufacturing-ready; exact released designs, ratings, certifications and production allocations remain separate gates.

02Readiness is not a universal certification

The company confirmed on October 8, 2026 that its Selenium models are manufacturing-ready. Exact electrical ratings, certifications, warranty terms, production allocation and mission qualification remain model-specific. Request the current configuration record and qualification package for your intended application.

03Terrestrial application pathways

Selenium is positioned for residential, commercial, utility and specialist infrastructure applications. External module envelopes may align with standard Energy America formats, while material stack, manufacturing design, cell interconnection and performance require model-specific disclosure. Prospective buyers can request a controlled qualification package rather than infer compatibility from illustrative 3D imagery.

04Space and high-reliability boundaries

An Earth-rated photovoltaic module cannot be assumed to meet satellite, orbital or lunar conditions. Space-power systems are evaluated for mass-specific output, launch and deployment loads, thermal cycling, vacuum behavior, radiation degradation, power conditioning and end-of-life generation. These mission-specific qualifications require validated evidence and appropriate customer acceptance.

05Responsible NASA-origin attribution

The company describes a NASA-origin technology pathway associated with Centauri commercialization. Technology origin does not mean NASA endorsement or certification of Energy America or a particular product. Licensing scope and permitted technical disclosure are addressed through the relevant program records.

06Request a technology conversation

Research institutions, OEM buyers, aerospace integrators and industrial partners may request application screening, available technical disclosures and next qualification steps. Commercial availability is not inferred from manufacturing readiness; specifications, documentation, compliance, IP licensing scope and supply terms are assessed for each inquiry.
